http://www.lao.ca.gov/laoapp/laomenus/sections/crim_justice/6_cj_inmatecost.aspx?catid=3
now for the rest of the inmates they work for there clothing room and bord and Health Care also
i would not use the shot or chair for the death pealit its about $ 308 million per prisoner a year if i read it right this is what is said (California has spent more than $ 4 billion on capital punishment since it was reinstated in 1978 (about $ 308 million for each of the 13 executions carried out) ill put up the web site
http://www.deathpenalty.org/article.php?id=42
so you can look it up see if i missed somthing but about $ 308 mill per person or max of $ 5 fer bullet we could save lots of money that would be used on the schools to prevent our kids from going to jail
what do you think this is just my thoughts
Thank you Ray i am a bit controlling i know yes people make mistakes that’s why they would be able to work in prison they can learn new things if your a low level prisoner you can earn the privileg to learn how to work on cars buildings etc so when they get out they can get a job the higher in danger the less privileges but all that don’t get the death penalty will have to pass a psych test i was talking about death for the ones that cant be rehabilitated and and did something inhumane for the ones that have medical conditions if we know they have them they go to a mad house cant spell inseainascilum correct the prison will be almost if not fully paying for its self by having the prisoners build fix make and sell objects they would also be able to study to a GED or high school diploma all this will help not harm our state and the people in it i think
