How Do I Find a Lawyer Who Does Pro Bono Work?
Question by : How do I find a lawyer who does pro bono work?
I am in desperate need of an Attorney who can help me to keep the father of my children out of their lives until he receives treatment for substance abuse and anger management. I cannot afford to pay for an attorney and I was hoping someone may be able to guide me in the right direction. Thanx!

firms that have pro bono attorneys are not interested in mundane law. They do their pro bono on constitutional questions, death penalty appeals and major cases that will get them attention and more paying clients.
You are not looking for a pro bono lawyer – you are looking for free or cheap representation. You should start with your states legal assistance services and see if you qualify. If you do not, try your states Board of Bar Overseers. Some states have a volunteer list of lawyers who may help you.

A lot better fairer place to live. I do believe we would live shorter lives though if we did not have antibiotics, antifungals, seizure meds, and vaccinations. We would be miserable without pain meds, but we would not know any different and therefore learn to deal with it.
What do you think? Answer below!

Army Substance Abuse Self Referal vs Command Referal?
Question by Yujiro: army substance abuse self referal vs command referal?
If you are caught using drugs and have not recieved an article 15 or chapter paperwork nor has any command referal into asap been made, if you were to self refer into asap can they still prosecute you?
ive heard they cant at that point, anyone know?
I ask because I was caught smoking k2 3 weeks ago and stopped smoking it all together when that had happened but had begun to drink alot, I was worried about myself and my plt sgt had told me not to go before he went on leave, I didnt think a wait and see attitude was good and my health was important to me despite what anyone thinks so I enrolled myself, they would have sent me either way but since they were taking there sweet time and clearly my health was of little importance to them I took initiative and when my plt sgt returned he accused me of going over him so that I couldnt be prosecuted, I didnt know anything about not being able to be prosecuted or whatever he was talking about, and now I find myself curious so thats why I was asking about it.
