What kind of a therapist? You can probably land a job as a psychiatric social worker with just a Masters degree in Social Work or Psychology. A Masters is four-years of undergraduate college, followed by two years for a Masters degree. Psychology is one of the “easier” sciences, compared to say, Nuclear Physics. But it is still college and will be harder than high school.

To have much chance of landing a position as a psychologist you need to have a Ph.D. Add three more years to the Masters.
