Question by Jasmine: Are you allowed to bring advil or ibuprofen to your school? What do you think of what happened at my school?
We’re not allowed to bring any of that to school. One of my friends had about 10 caplets of Motrin in her bag at school. Some teachers did random bag searches and she got a 10-day suspension and 30 days at Douglas for “substance abuse” program. I think this is waaay to extreme and an invasion of privacy. In the beginning of the we signed this paper that we agree to all of this. The whole school did if we wanted our lockers. They don’t have the right to even search bags. Another bad part is that my friend is a senior and this decreases her chance of getting into a good college. It goes on her transcript and all. What do you think?

Question by A W: Addicts for drugs have detoxes… how can I go about to help “other” types of addictions to have a safe rehab?
drug addicted people have drug rehab places to go to when they need help… is there any thing I can do to try to have people in the higher political offices help other offenders have a safe place to go to help themselves before they end up in trouble? Any suggestions on how to go about this?
I have run into many people that are offenders and they have stated to me that if there was a safe place to go before they offended… they would not have offended the way they did and … this will also help society to have safe havens for these people to go and get the help they need in a safe… secretive way… any suggestions would be great… thanks… please don’t respond with an answer of that would be pointless… trust me I am asking this question for a good reason… any info. on what I can do or who to contact would be great.    Read more...
