Unless I have the strength to escape this disease on my own,
but I was curious if there are any programs dedicated to recovering alcoholics for atheists? I know there has to be, but how common are they? have people known to find them effective?
I don’t believe in any higher power… So I guess I can’t be apart of the group huh!? damnnn

I saw on the popular BBC regional TV program “That’s my turnip” that 10% of Americans claim to have been abducted by Allens. Thius would indicate one of several possibilities
1) at least 10% of Americans are mental
2) there really are lots of Allens from space
3) there are just a few really busy Allens
4) the reporters on “That’s my turnip” are just making all up like they did with that story about drug smuggling penguin gangs.
5) Some Americans are dressing up as Allens and probing the others

I don’t even know any Allens at all. So I could hardly have been abduckted by them. Even ducks are scarce where I’m at. I wouldn’t disregard your point 4 right now – animals that are THAT well dressed as a matter of course MUST be doing nefarious things.

I have been with my husband for 7 years and married 3. We have a 2 1/2 years old and he has a 10 year old from his previous relationship. When I had my daughter I became Post pardum really bad. So I turned to shopping for comfort and am now addicted. So needless to say I am not perfect and continue to shop even when I don’t have the money. I am in therepy now b/c we a recently seperated for 2 weeks and he shows no signs of wanting to make this work even though he told the theripist he does. I am 20+ lbs. overweight and carry so much guilt. When we do talk it’s only about the baby and he carries so much anger towards me for my spending money. I try to be strong but it tears me apart every day. How did this become this way and how can I save our marriage, even if he’s being stubborn with his anger? I know I am one hell of a catch and I don’t know how to get back in touch with myself to better me? Please help.
