We are a nonprofit serving homeless neighbors in need that has outgrown its current facilities. In the past 25 years we’ve fine-tuned the “one-stop” model of rehabilitation for adults and children experiencing homelessness in San Diego. Continuing our commitment to outstanding service, we have designed a “three building in one” solutions to better meet the needs of those we serve. The new structure will be efficiently designed to allow us to address three specific areas of need: a child development center, long-term transitional housing, and permanent affordable housing.

I have been using opiates for over a year now, sometimes with a perscription sometimes with out. Oxycontin has been my main obsticle and being that it nearly costs a dollar a milligram it can cost up to $ 100 just for one day. I have not been using everyday but every chance I get money thats where almost all of it goes. My mom is aware of this addiction and I have been trying to stress to her that this is a very hard one to break. I have used marijuana, adderall, benzodiazapines, and other perscription medicine. Opiates have this grab on me that is very hard to quit.

they do not admit they are addicts and use every excuse to be high and not want sobriety they justify using and have grandiose behavior like i can quit any time and they don’t the saying i do not have a problem is a big lie they tell them selves to continue using.look up the N.A. website or get the book and read the stories or attend an N.A. meeting for more information.

It adds insult to injury when you have cases like the one in my link below.
It’s been 3-1/2 months since a man with a previous DUI conviction was charged with striking Mary Edwards while she walked home from a shopping center in December.
The impact broke her legs and ankles, dislocated her left elbow, smashed her left shoulder, cracked her ribs, bruised her lungs and knocked out several of her teeth. The injuries have left the 73-year-old woman bedridden.
