In The United States testosterone and related substances including methyltestosterone, fluoxymesterone, and oxandrolone are federally controlled schedule III substances.

According to the DEA “Substances in this schedule have a potential for abuse less than substances in schedules I or II and abuse may lead to moderate or low physical dependence or high psychological dependence.” Other examples of schedule III controlled substances include opioids such as Vicodin (hydrocodone/acetaminophen), Tylenol #3 (acetaminophen/codeine), Subutex (buprenorphine), and Suboxone (buprenorphine/naloxone) along with non-amphetamine stimulants sometimes prescribed for weight loss and include Didrex (benzphetamine) and Bontril (phendimetrazine), barbiturates like Sodium Pentothal (sodium thiopental), and other drugs including ketamine.    Read more...

In my Current Job I got very sick and was in the hospital for a little under a week. I have been cleared from the hopital, but am thinking about taking short term disablitby from work. What effect would that cuase if any from getting a flight job. What do Most of the Job Applications state about previous healthy issues? Is there a box that specifially says did you ever take short term disabilty?
