What Kinds of Caffeinated Foods/beverages Can Mormons Have?

Question by Christine: What kinds of caffeinated foods/beverages can mormons have?
I have heard rules against coffee and tea, but I have not heard any rules against soda, chocolate, etc. That seems a little hypocritical, if you ask me. So I am here to ask, what are the exact rules regarding caffeine in the mormon religion? And if certain foods are accepted with caffeine in them (such as soda), why is this acceptable?

Addiction Treatment Program: Why Does He Only Get Drunk at Home?

Question by Krazie: Why does he only get drunk at home?
I know my husband has a drinking problem, but he’s not a typical “alcoholic”. He’s works in the oil field and his schedule is 7 days of work and 7 days off. While he’s at work he doesn’t drink even if the other men are. He stays out on location on his work week (usually because the work site is to far to drive back and forth) and doesn’t drink because it’s against work regulations to drink on location. He’s reasoning is he doesn’t want to lose his job. Ok BUT when days off hit he drinks every evening till his drunk. Some days nothing happens. Other days his rude and argumentative blaming me for some unknown reason. We’ve talked about this and actually his cut down from a 12 pack to a 6 pack in the past year. So obviously he has some control over his drinking. What do I do to get him to cut back to weekends only or a few times a month? Does he need AA? I dunno I’m frustrated and need advice.

Hey guys so I was dating my boyfriend for 8 months now, he’s so wonderful and literally treats me like a princess. He does everything for me and is so sweet and caring for me. However, he’s lied a few times. He used to do drugs but doesn’t anymore for about a Year now anyways he has alot of friends who still do and gets them this pill “suboxone” which is like an
Alternative, suppose to stop the addiction…
Anyways, he lied to me the first time by not telling me he was getting them these pills and would lie where he was etc…. I forgave him and he promised he would never ever lie again. So today again it happened. He told me he Was on the phone with his mom but I knew he was talking to a man because I heard it… He even swore on our relAtionship but then confessed and said he lied because he didn’t wanna tell me again because he just doesn’t want me to know about that.. Idk guys what should I do I’m just so upset and frustrated and just can’t trust him anymore… What should I do?:(

Vicodin vs Codeine vs Percocet ..?

Question by kieshyiah: Vicodin vs Codeine vs Percocet ..?
Which is more addictive? My friend was on Vicodin and was afraid he would get addicted, so the doctor switched him to Codeine. I always thought Codeine was more addictive? Would Percocet be a good alternative that would take care of the pain (Shoulder Impingement Syndrome) without the addiction and withdrawals? Any help would be appreciated?
I just found out its not ‘Codeine’ its Tylenol 3 with Codeine. Just to amend that.

Vicodin is hydrocodone and is a schedule 3 narcotic…it is addictive but always has a NSAIS in it like APAP, ibprofen or another over the counter pain drug, that is used to make sure people don’t abuse it (take 5 instead of one) but some still do..percocet is oxycodone a schedule 2 narcotic with APAP (acetaminophen) aka tylenol, Codeine is the base drug that they above two are used to manufacture….it is in the smae class schedule as oxycodone andthe schedules are used toi classify potential dangers of abuse…
