Campton Hills trustees follow residents, reject Kiva drug rehab center

After months of consideration, Campton Hills trustees voted 4-2 to deny the controversial Kiva Recovery Center, a 96-bed facility proposed for a former private school. Residents vehemently fought the plan to the end. "We need to look at that and be a representative government," Trustee Al Lenkaitis Jr. said.
