I have been using nasal spray since I was 5. I am now 22. I was wondering what the long term effects could end up being. I have read all kinds answers regarding quitting, but what’s the use of quitting if the only effects I can find is that I will just have to use it forever? You know what I mean?

Your parents should be beaten publicly if they put you on nose spray like that at such a young age.
The difficulties of getting off nose sprays after years of use are many and unpleasant. But you NEED to do it. I had a problem for almost a year and I will NEVER touch the stuff again, no matter how bad my nose gets stuffed-up. I got hooked fast and it was hell getting off the stuff.
There are MANY problems associated with the continued use of nose sprays, like chronic nose bleeds and chronic sick sinus symptoms.
Just Google “Nose Spray addiction” and you will find lots and lots of help sights and information.
