So im writing an informative essay on Textaholics and the different kinds of addiction. I have my intro done but im not sure if it good enough. i always have a hard time beginning a paper. So could you guys read over my into and tell me what kind of changes i should make, you know, stuff like that. thanks 🙂
Over the years, the means of communication among teenagers has changed dramatically. It seems as if calling is now a thing of the past since sending a text is so much easily done. Although texting was not initially intended for conversations, it’s now very common to send hundreds of text messages instead. Mainly in teenagers, this texting issue is becoming a habit and in some cases known as the new drug with some serious addictions. Unquestionably, teens that show signs of suffering from textaphrenia, texiety, and/or binge texting are basically what most people consider a textaholic.

Flow. From informing us about texting history to text addictions…there should be smoother flow. The “new drug” seems weird with the “addictions” part. Try “new addiction”. Oh and “teens show symptoms of…” try that.
