Hellooouu, so do you ever run into the types of people where they have to prove their point on -everything- where its not apparent to why ? Of course they’re a why for them but it makes conversation confusing. And you don’t understand what they are saying about their “point”, because it doesn’t really relate to what you’re talking about (the thing that was brought up at first).
Well, my boyfriend does this All the time. It’s confusing a bit for me to explain in text but i feel like it’s difficult for me to tell him things because , I feel that when I’m speaking he doesn’t take ANY time to quickly process what im saying, and instead replies to me that very loosley with something has NOTHING to do with what I even said. Then we get into a rediculous argument because he HAS to prove his point lmao of whatever the hell he’s talking about. He’s has ptsd, but he has his marbles together very well on critical thinking levels. I think it is just a matter of that he has to be “right” all the time. He honestly thinks that I am the one the does and really i don’t care! omg lol I just wish i could talk with him without feeling like Im talking to someone who thinks they have a docterette with everything.
For instance,and this is just an example, Our “arguments about points of view” were that I was thinking about my friend that was a heavy ciggeratte smoker for years, and she quit (YaY!!) , however she told me she was physically addicted and became very sick because her body needed the nicotine and I told my boyfriend about this randomly because i was thinking about it. And he had to prove a point about how he doesn’t like the word “addiction” and that people are really just conditioned by themselves and that they tell themselves things like its all in their head idk..etc and a whole buch of other stuff he said.
