The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) is a United States federal government research institute. Their mission is to lead the Nation in bringing the power of science to bear on drug abuse and addiction.
According to notes released by NIDA Director Dr. Alan I. Leshner in the September 2000 issue of Director’s Column:
“Remarkable research and technological advances in the past two decades have proved that brain disruption and damage play central roles in the consequences of drug abuse and addiction. Knowing the nature of a problem, of course, opens the way for systematic attempts to fix it. Thus, today, finding ways to restore normal brain function after it has been changed by drugs is a main goal of NIDA research.

The typical experience is to sit in a room with a number of ex alcoholics and listen to their life stories. They tell of what got them started, what they did while drinking and what led them to AA. often the court makes them attend so they are not there voluntarily. They discuss how they have been tempted to start drinking again and what they do to avoid relapse.

If you have smoked weed every day for the last two years, you too are addicted whether you admit it to yourself and others or not. Insofar as your review of your brother’s weed smoking habit, that is especially not for you to be judging in light of the example you set for him. The blind are enviably not in a credible position to adequately lead the blind as both suffer the same impaired judgment before the process even begins. The greatest lies that hurt us most are the ones we tell ourselves.

Preferably that I can buy at Sally’s Beauty. I just need to be able to pick it up at the store, instead of ordering online. I leave for vacation Thursday morning, and I want my hair deep conditioned before I get it dyed/highlighted on Wednesday.
I have long (midway down my back), very thick hair, wavy/curly texture. Its pretty dry usually, which is why I want to deep condition it.

a lot of $ but if u or ur parents have health insurance rehab should be covered. insurance co’s talk like they won’t pay it but eventually will. if you have no insurance each state has drug rehab programs. do a search 4 the state you live in. if u don’t find info. call the united way (look up phone # in your city). tell them what type of services you need they can give you lots of info.

As a teenager I was sent away by my parents to “recreational treatments centers” for behavioral issues not drugs, and they of course keep daily charts and reports on each kid, now that I am 18, can I request a copy of them from those centers? do they have to give it to me If I ask? I live in California, but the centers were in multiple states.
