Substance Abuse in Schools: How Is My Thesis Statement?
Question by Schatzi: How is my thesis statement?
I’m writing a research paper about causes of school violence in the US, and as always I struggle with the thesis statement.
My thesis statement now is:
“Issues such as family problems, peer pressure, media’s influence, and drug & alcohol use could stimulate students to act violently in school.”
Please tell me if this is a working thesis or not. If not, how should I correct it?
