Substance Abuse Intervention: IS It My Business to Be Concerned?
Question by Stacy: IS it my business to be concerned?
Well my sister has changed A LOT! and not for the best! she drinks everyday (alcohol). and she just isnt the same she cusses a lot now and everything and i barley talk to her at all anymore because i hate when she drinks! she got drunk very badly at my cousins baby shower and she was nice to everyone but completely ignored me and i havent talked to her since ! well she is 24 and i am 17 should i speak up and try and get her help or just mind my own business and watch her kill her liver =[. it really hurts me i used to look up to her so much and now its like i am the adult here and i am trying to get her to stop but i dont want to say anything if its not my place. =[ does that make sense? =[

She is your family and you are worried….it is your business, however keep in mind that sometimes it is very hard to help someone who doesn’t want to change.
