What Substance Would Harm Someone the Most?
Question by ?: What substance would harm someone the most?
Between marijuana and alcohol, what would do the most long term damage? **PLEASE do not say both**
I don’t drink alcohol at all but i do regularly use marijuana. Sad thing is though, most of the older bunch that have been doing it in life never got too far (financially), and they’ve all kind of mentally lost it, but most are physically healthy and happy.
Opposed to the older bunch that drank most their life, are depressed and they look like they are not doing so well health wise either, but they seem to be much more successful than the marijuana crowd.
So which one is worse?
BTW i have posted this before, I do not want an answer that tells me not to do it, that is my personal decision. I do not want an answer that says both are bad, I think we all already know that and you are just stating the obvious. I want a straight up answer of which one you think is worse from your own personal experiences.

Alcohol is way worse. It permanently severes the synaptic link between nerve cells and they eventually die. Marijuana releases an enzyme which prohibits the communication between synapses but does not cause permanent damage like alcohol. It does not destroy the nerve cell, it just makes it stupid. If you stop smoking, the stupidness will eventually go away. But with alcohol it never comes back…the nerve is dead. Don’t listen to people who post about negative effects of marijuana. Go to www.norml.org and get the info for yourself.
