Aimee – Episode 3, Season 2 Preview of INTERVENTION CANADA

intervention-canada.ca ** The 3rd episode of Intervention Canada’s second season profiles Aimee in Ontario. Born addicted to opiates, Aimee, 25, is caught in the same cycle of addiction that took her mother’s life when Aimee was a little girl. Suffering through a childhood of neglect, Aimee’s feelings of worthlessness and abandonment led her into a downward spiral that began in her early teens. A string of abusive boyfriends, the loss of custody of her four children, and memories too painful to hold have led Aimee to a serious fentanyl addiction and a life on the streets soliciting men to pay for her habit. Her father, who lives in fear that he will have to bury his daughter as he did her mother, makes one final desperate bid to save her life. Intervention Canada is the Canadian version of the Emmy-Award-winning A&E series Intervention. Tune into the gripping one-hour doc series on SLICE every Sunday night at 8PM ET 9PM PT.
